Will it look cakey or settle into lines?

How do I apply it on mature skin?
Start with moisturiser and give it a minute to absorb. Then one small pump onto clean skin, blended outward in circular motions with your fingers, a damp sponge or a brush. Let the pigments settle for 30–60 seconds before deciding whether to add more — most people need less than they expect. Layer only where you want extra coverage.

Is the SPF 50 enough on its own?
It adds real sun protection, but foundation is usually applied more thinly than sunscreen. For long days outdoors, wear a dedicated sunscreen underneath and reapply.
How does color changing foundation work?
The pigments sit inside spheres that break open as you blend. They release against your own complexion, so the shade forms on your skin instead of being picked off a shelf. That’s why the formula looks white in the bottle and only reads as your tone once it’s worked in.
Is liquid or powder foundation better for mature skin?
Powder tends to settle into fine lines and cling to dry patches, which makes it a harder choice after 40. Biomimic® is liquid on a hydrating base, so it blends over texture instead of catching on it. If you like the look of powder, set only the areas that need it rather than the whole face.
Will it work on dry or flaky skin?
Yes. The base is hydrating, so it blends over dry patches instead of clinging to them. On very dry skin, moisturise first, wait a minute, then apply in thin layers with a damp sponge — and skip powder on the driest areas.
Which Spectrum should I choose?
Medium Spectrum covers four medium complexions: golden beige, neutral beige, rosy beige and olive beige — warm, cool and neutral undertones alike. Olive skin in particular reads green or sallow in standard shades, and the adapting pigments work with that undertone instead of against it. Fair to light/medium belongs in Light Spectrum, tan to deep in Dark Spectrum. Between two? Take the lighter one, the 30-day exchange covers a swap.
